Thai woman wins first gold medal in Rio Olympic

The Thailands woman Sopita Tasan  has won first  gold medal in 

Brazil, Rio

de Janeiro Olympics on Saturday 

August 6, 2016. 

Tasan  21 years old who is the weight lifter 

grabbed the

 first medal with total weight of 200kg. She dominated 

women's 48kgs, lifting 

92kg in the snatch and

 108kg in the clean. Tasan followed by Japanese

 lifter Hiromi Mayake who took 

bronze with a total of 

188kg.
